Likuliku Lagoon Resort Fiji: Luxurious

Likuliku Lagoon Resort in Fiji has just marked its fifth birthday and to celebrate is offering a free night for those who can afford 5 or more nights at the luxury resort. The promotion will save customers anywhere up to $1500 – standard nightly rates at the resort sit between $1000 and $1500 AUD (depending on the room category of which there are many – including overwater bure’s). The promotion applies to travel before 30th June 2012.

I’ve been lucky enough to have spent a few nights here and let me tell you – it is amazing. Don’t take my word for it though as the resort has been awarded a number of prestigious awards such as:

Whilst this article I’m writing sounds eerily like an advert (which it is not) I can confidently say that this is one of the finest resorts that I have been fortunate enough to visit. The resort is tailored for couples and (I believe) children are not allowed.  Sunset cocktails at the island-like bar are a must and this is a great way to meet fellow guests. When guests aren’t enjoying cocktails however they relax in their luxuriously appointed bure’s and live life at “Fiji time” pace, which is slow and relaxing for those unaccustomed to the term.

The all-inclusive meals are sensational and the changing meal plan never left us bored of the selection. There are numerous inclusive activities to keep you occupied during your stay but like I mentioned above, this place is perfect to just chill and forget about your stressful 9-5 job back home.
