Virgin Atlantic: New business class details to be released
Virgin Atlantic are about to announce details of its new business class on April 21. This announcement is guaranteed to get Virgin fanbois whipped into a lather as it has been years since the premium cabin has received an update. The current business class product is looking tired after years of neglect – its Skytrax reviews from bitter customers is reflective of this lack of investment and its actual Skytrax rating has slipped to a mediocre ’3 Stars’.
The new seat will be known as the ‘Upper Class Dream Suite’ and will feature on the carriers first A330 aircraft on the highly competitive London – New York route. Virgin Atlantic COO Steve Griffiths believes that the new product is not only a new seat but also a whole refreshed proposition, which will position the carrier as “best in class”:
“This is about creating a gap. It involves new product, new in-flight entertainment and investment in the service. It will absolutely make Virgin Atlantic the best in class.”
Many customers of Virgin Atlantic have lamented the downfall of a carrier that was once the funky alternative to tired and stale British Airways. Will this be what brings Virgin Atlantic back from the brink and give its passengers a truly stylish travel experience? Watch this space to find out….
FlymeFunky will bring you details of the cabin refresh as soon as announced on April 21.
